Bridges
WHAT ARE DENTAL BRIDGES?
Dental bridges—also sometimes called partial dentures—are a form of restorative dentistry designed to replace one or more consecutive missing teeth. Filling the gap left behind by missing teeth helps to prevent the shifting of the surrounding teeth while restoring your ability to talk and chew properly. Bridges can take a number of different forms based on your specific needs. Traditional fixed bridges are typically a false tooth or set of teeth anchored using dental crowns affixed to the natural teeth on either side of the gap
What are benefits of dental bridges?
Dental bridges offer many patients an effective replacement option for missing or severely damaged teeth. Treatment benefits can include: Improved chewing and speaking function Prevention of the adjacent teeth from shifting into the gap left behind by missing teeth. Greater support for your facial structures, which can be compromised by tooth loss An enhanced smile aesthetic. Improved confidence and self-esteem when smiling and talking.
